  1.                    TURNING THE UNIT ON 
  2.           AND CONTROLLING POSITIONING
  3.  
  4. The slit-lamp is turned on and off and the light intensity 
  5. is controlled by the unit mounted below the table.  
  6.  
  7. The movement of the slit-lamp biomicroscope laterally 
  8. and in and out controlled by the joystick.  The vertical adjustment is accomplished by twisting the joystick-clockwise to raise and counter-clockwise to 
  9. lower.

  11. The unit can be locked so it does not move by 
  12. the small knob near the table top on the right side.  
  13. This should belocked when not in use so the unit 
  14. is not damaged when it is swung out of the way if 
  15. on the stand or when the table is moved.
  16.
